Free Birthday Drink on Starbucks
Getting a free drink from Starbucks for your birthday is guaranteed if you are already an avid Starbucks app user. If not though, don’t worry – you can still get a birthday drink!
Starbucks Reward is easy and free to sign up for, and as long as you have an account made seven days prior to your birthdate, you’ll automatically get a birthday promotion alert the day of.
Creating a Starbucks Reward Account
To create a Starbucks Reward account, you’ll need your first and last name and an active email address. It’s as simple as that.
Once your account is set up and ready, you can begin using your Rewards program. Simply scan your Rewards barcode from the app every time you order a drink, or use the app to pre-order ahead of time.
With each purchase, you collect Starbucks stars. For every dollar spent, you earn a Starbucks star, and collectively they add up to earn you free purchases. When you preload your app with money, each of those dollars will earn you two Starbucks stars.
Once you start collecting stars, you can begin spending them when you’ve got 25 or more. Most drinks will cost you 50-100 stars, while food items and other menu purchases vary.
Keep an eye out for Double Star Days that are promoted throughout the year. These days allow you to earn two stars for every dollar spent.
How To Get Your Free Starbucks Birthday Drink
As long as you have an active Starbucks Reward account that you launched seven days prior to your birthday or more, your Birthday Reward will automatically appear in your account on your birthday.
To use the reward, simply open the app, click on the promotion, and order from there. Or if in-store already, open the promotion and show it at purchase.
Birthday Rewards are only redeemable the day of and will cover any one handcrafted beverage OR one food item OR one ready-to-drink bottle from their fridge.
Birthday Rewards do not cover packaged coffee beans, retail items, or multi-serve food items like their Cranberry Bliss Bars.
