Delicious Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino Recipe

Just so you know, if you click on a product on and decide to buy it, we may earn a small commission.

When it first arrived on the scene, the mocha cookie crumble frappuccino was only available at Starbucks for a limited time, but thanks to popular demand, the icy, blended coffee beverage landed a permanent spot on the coffee franchise’s menu.

When a plain mocha frappuccino isn’t enough to hit the spot, the added bonus of Oreo sandwich cookies saves the day, adding an extra layer of chocolate goodness that you didn’t even know you needed.

And if you’ve got about 5 minutes to spare, a blender, and a few easy-to-find ingredients, you can replicate this — one of Starbucks’s most popular frappuccino recipes — from the comfort of your own home. With this recipe, you’ll be wowing your friends and family with a Starbucks Coffee copycat that tastes so good, they’d swear it’s the real thing.

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup of strong brewed coffee
  • 4 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
  • 8 crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1-2 cups of ice
  • Whipped cream
  • A blender

Step 1:

Start by brewing a cup of your favorite strong coffee or a shot of espresso; for a better-tasting result, you’ll want it to be as fresh as possible, so consider grinding your own beans for your brew.

Brewed Espresso

Step 2:

Then, add the crushed Oreos (save a few cookie crumbs — you’ll need them later!), chocolate chips, milk, chocolate syrup, and coffee to the blender and pulse until the mixture is smooth. Feel free to use whatever milk you prefer; whether you opt to use whole milk or vegan-friendly nut milk, the mocha cookie crumble frappuccino will still be creamy and delicious.

Step 3:

Once your mixture is evenly blended, add your ice to the blender. Remember, the amount of ice you use will determine how thick your drink will be, so keep that in mind as you decide whether one cup or two is best. Blend until the mixture thickens.

Blended Frappuccino

Step 4:

Pour your blended coffee drink into a glass, and top it with whipped cream and crushed Oreo cookies. For an extra burst of sweet goodness, drizzle a bit of chocolate syrup on top of it, too — absolutely delicious.

Whipped Topping

This beverage is a popular choice for coffee enthusiasts and cookie lovers alike. And while its super-sugary ingredients may not make it the healthiest choice for getting your caffeine boost every day, a mocha cookie crumble frappuccino makes a perfect cheat-day treat every once in a while…and the best part is, there are no long Starbucks lines required!
