1. Classic Cold Brew Coffee

The first cold brew coffee recipe we will look at is simply called cold brew coffee. In cold brew coffee, there is a lot to appreciate, especially with the rich and unique flavor of cold brew coffee which can have a number of different flavor profiles depending on the type of coffee bean that was used. To begin preparing your cold brew, you will first need to prepare the ingredients. In preparation for cold brew coffee, the ingredients will consist of cold-filtered water and coffee beans. Specifically what I mean is 4 cups of cold-filtered water and 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee that has no heat-extracted oils (before the brewing process) and then put the mixture in a large mason jar, or, alternatively, you may also use a french press. Then, you will put your mixture into the fridge for a period of time that can range between 12 hours to a maximum of 24 hours. It is during this time that the mixture will extract the flavors of the coffee without the bite of heat and once this is completed, all that you will have to do is strain the mixture with either a coffee filter or a fine mesh sieve. Congrats, you’ve got yourself coffee concentrate! You may choose to further dilute this with water or milk of your choosing. This will leave you with a much less acidic coffee and a fantastic taste that you will be able to enjoy any time.
