Even if you prefer to drink your coffee black, every once in a while it’s fun to add a bit of syrup to your cup of joe.

Whether you’re a flavor fanatic or you only like a bit of sweetness, it’s important you have a syrup that you not only love, but that isn’t incredibly bad for you.

It’s easy for coffee syrups to contain a lot of stuff that isn’t exactly great for your body. From artificial sweeteners to gluten, it can be hard to get tasty coffee additions without harmful ingredients.

However, it can also be hard to get healthy coffee syrups that still taste just as good as unhealthy ones.

I was given the chance to review Miss Mary’s Sinless Syrups, so I can tell you if these healthy flavor options are actually the perfect medium.

Miss Mary’s Syrups Review

What is Miss Mary’s?

The Miss Mary’s company actually started because owners Ryan and Tristina wanted cocktail mixes that both tasted good and were good for your body. After dealing with their own struggles, mostly caused by artificial sweeteners, they worked hard to create products with clean ingredients, low sugar, and a delicious taste.

They only use natural sweeteners in their cocktail mixes and syrups, such as monk fruit and organic stevia. They also rave about being keto-friendly, gluten-free, and plant-based.

While Miss Mary’s started out creating cocktail mixes, they do have a good collection of sugar-free coffee syrups, which they call their Sinless Syrups.

These vary in their classic flavors, Madagascar vanilla, caramel, mocha, and simple syrup. They also have seasonal flavors that change depending on the time of year.

All of these are sweetened with organic stevia leaf extract and monk fruit and are labeled as keto-friendly, gluten-friendly, and plant-based. This makes these syrups a healthy alternative for sweetening and adding flavor to your coffee.

Miss Mary’s Sinless Syrups Classic Collection Review

When I was told I was being sent some Miss Mary’s syrups to review, I was more than excited, as I’d tried alternative sugar-free syrups before with not much success.

The three syrups I received are included in their Sinless Syrup Classic Collection and come in the flavors Madagascar vanilla, caramel, and mocha.

With each flavor, I chose to pair the syrup with a latte I made myself so that I could really taste each one.

Madagascar Vanilla Syrup

The first coffee syrup I tried from Miss Mary’s was the classic Madagascar vanilla. After I opened the bottle, I poured just a bit into my glass, as the label on the bottle states that you just need a spoonful to flavor your drink.

After adding ice, and then some of my preferred milk, I was ready to try my sugar-free vanilla iced latte!

I have to say, that even with just a little of the flavor, I could really taste this yummy syrup. It held a sweet and simple vanilla taste with just a bit of tang. As someone who doesn’t often just drink a plain vanilla latte, I was impressed with how much I liked it!

Caramel Syrup

Next up was Miss Mary’s caramel syrup, one I was especially excited about as, out of classic coffee flavors go, caramel has to be one of my favorites.

I added the same amount as I did the vanilla to a new glass, along with some ice and milk.

The caramel was definitely different than the Madagascar vanilla, but honestly, I loved it even more. It tasted sweet and creamy and even had a hint of nutty flavor.

The coffee turned out to be warm and comforting even though it was an iced latte, that’s how you know it’s good!

Mocha Syrup

Finally comes the mocha syrup from Miss Mary’s classic collection. If honesty is the policy here, I was a bit worried because I’m not a big fan of mocha in my coffee. However, I was curious because it was unlike most mocha flavorings, which usually have an obvious chocolate appearance.

Instead, this syrup was clear, just like the other two I tried. After I added my ice and milk, I tasted the latte and was pleasantly surprised. I could still tell that this was a mocha coffee, but it wasn’t an overbearing flavor.

There even seemed to be a hint of vanilla, which complemented the chocolate really well.

Miss Mary’s Sinless Syrups: Final Thoughts

Three different Miss Mary's Sinless Syrups with three brewed cups of coffee

Overall, I was very surprised and relieved about how the Miss Mary’s Sinless Syrups turned out in my lattes. Not only are you getting great-tasting flavor in as little or as much quantity as you want in your coffee, but it’s also worry-free!

The fact that these syrups have no sugars, no artificial sweeteners, no carbs, no gluten, are keto-friendly, and are plant-based is almost unbelievable! If I was asked to taste these syrups without knowing how healthy they were, I would honestly have had no idea!

I’m very happy I got to try the three different classic flavors and, even though I usually stray toward the caramel flavor, I would be happy to have just a plain vanilla latte any day with the Madagascar vanilla syrup.

Moreover, as someone who doesn’t like mocha in their coffee, I would even use this mocha syrup again.

I know how hard it can be to find a coffee syrup without the guilt that still tastes great, so I highly recommend trying out Miss Mary’s Sinless Syrups for a peace-of-mind yummy coffee beverage!

Happy Caffeinating!
