The Process

Step 1:

Let’s start by getting the Ninja Coffee Machine ready. Just like you’re making black coffee, make sure it’s plugged in and powered on. Be sure also to fill the water reservoir.

Add 3-4 Ninja Single-Serve Scoops of ground coffee right into the brew basket.

Now we’re ready to prep the mocha.

QUICK TIP: If you’re using the Ninja DualBrew, you can use a pod instead of scoops of ground coffee and still get the same rich, concentrated flavors of coffee with an extra caffeinated punch.

Step 2:

It’s time to sweeten!

Did you know that mocha is just a latte with a burst of chocolate flavoring, whether it’s milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or my favorite, white chocolate? And chocolate pairs so well with strong coffee hints.

So pull out your first coffee cup and fill it up with flavor. Add as many tablespoons of chocolate and vanilla syrup as you want. The combination of chocolate mocha, vanilla syrup, and espresso will be a better coffee mixture than any store-bought coffee.

I love to add Torani French Vanilla syrup to mine.

Step 3:

Now it’s time to froth the milk. Your Ninja Coffee Bar System might come with a built-in, foldaway milk frother, but you can also use a handheld milk frother if you want.

Fill the second cup with 1/3 cup of milk or milk substitute. Most people prefer 2% milk, but a glass of almond milk is also delicious.

COLD MOCHA: Skip right to frothing.

HOT MOCHA: Microwave your mug for 45-60 seconds to heat the milk until it’s steaming.

Hold your coffee cup of milk under the frother and submerge the whisk just below the surface of the milk. Then, press and hold the top button for 30-45 seconds.

QUICK TIP: Always remember to hold your cup of milk under the whisk to catch any drips as you take it to the sink.

Step 4:

Now it’s time to combine the delicious ingredients!

Carefully pour your hot or cold frothy milk into your coffee mug. As it combines with the syrup and sauce, it will smell good enough to drink just as it is. But trust me! Adding the espresso will only enhance that delicious flavor.

Place your mug on the single-cup platform of your Ninja Coffee Machine, and let’s get that coffee brewing.

Why not cocoa powder? Though you can always use a mixture of milk, sugar, and cocoa powder to make a mocha, I prefer the creaminess that white chocolate syrup delivers.

Step 5:

Finally, we’re going to add the espresso. The Ninja Coffee Bar System has a specialty brew setting that delivers four ounces of concentrated coffee.

  • Select the Specialty Brew setting.

DUALBREW: Press the Brew Style button until Specialty Brew is selected.

COFFEE BAR: Be sure the Drip Stop is open and press the Specialty Brew button.

Four ounces of rich, delicious espresso, made from your favorite coffee grounds, will dispense directly into your cup of coffee.

Optional Steps:

  • If you’ve decided to drink your iced coffee mid-day or any time of day, now is the time to pour it all over the ice.
  • Whether hot or cold, top it off with a dollop of whipped cream to make it a sweet, creamy dessert-like coffee.
  • Drizzle a teaspoon of chocolate syrup on top for an extra indulgent mocha flavor.

Enjoy the time and money that you saved as you sip this delicious homemade white chocolate mocha that you made in under five minutes.

Happy Caffeinating!
